Harbor Heritage Run

Dan ran his first 5k of the year this weekend. (Dan hates how much leg his running shorts show off and was not okay with me posting that on the internet, so I did a little Photoshop for him. Much better!) Keane and I went along to cheer him on. Keane seemed mildly amused with all the excitement, except when the race started. It freaked him out a little to see a huge crowd of people stampeding at us! Dan did awesome and was listed as first place in his age group. Good job babe!!! He was a little disappointed when he saw the result though. His name was listed as first place, but there was another guy who got a better time than him. Then the guys standing next to him pointed out that it wasn't a guy that beat him, it was a GIRL!!!! So he got first place in his age group for men. His pride is still a bit wounded. Next year, Keane will be old enough to race in the stroller with him so maybe they will make it an official "Man Day" activity (more on "Man Day" later!) and beat all those other people with strollers!

(Quick Keane update: We had his 4 month check up last week and he weighed in at a solid 18 lbs 9 oz and is 27 inches long! He will be the size of a first grader by the time he has his first birthday at this rate! And he may grow up to think his name is Munch instead of Keane. It just fits! He's our little munchkin that loves to munch! He can hardly wait to start real food!)

WHAT! Two updates in less than a week! I can't believe my eyes.
I love what you did to Dan's legs.
